Greening the Territory. A Territory Government Initiative
Budget 2012 is supporting Greening the Territory initiatives with $106 million for the protection of the environment, parks and natural resources.
Budget 2012 delivers $8.4 million to support businesses and households to respond to climate change with a range of subsidies and initiatives under the Territory Government’s Climate Change Policy, including Ecobiz.

Cash for Containers continues to grow, with around six million containers redeemed in the first quarter of the scheme operating.
Territorians can get 10 cents back in their pockets for each eligible container collected by taking clean, empty containers to a Collection Depot.
It is also a great way for your local school, community group or sporting club to raise funds.
Infrastructure Grants are also on offer for businesses and community-based organisations to establish a Collection Depot or Collection Point.
So what are you waiting for? Get involved today.
